Sunmonu Attends Commissioning of OnaAra Hospital On 30 September 2017, Sen. Monsurat Sunmonu, attended the commissioning of the Ona-Ara hospital. The hospital is located in Ona-Ara Local Government within Oyo Central Senatorial District and is poised to provide top-class facilities to citizens. In her remarks, Sunmonu pledged to consider the area- as agreed with party leaders- when next facilitating electricity transformers, if needed to ensure that power at the hospital does not cause a problem for patients.

It held at the International Institute for Tropical Agricultural (IITA), Ibadan. The programme was in collaboration with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and GT Bank. In attendance as the Special Guest of Honour was His Excellency, Dr Zhou Pingjian, the Ambassador of China to Nigeria. In his remarks at the event, Dr Pingjian praised Sen. Sunmonu for being an erudite grassroots politician, whose Foundation was focussed on development, industry, good practice and sustainability.
